Impact
The LOCOMOTION study is committed to creating an impact from the research we conduct, by influencing policy, practice, patients, and the public, through the generation of scientific publications, and from the direct experience of participation in the study. Measuring the impact of our study demonstrates the value of research. Our measurement of impact includes, gathering patient and clinician feedback, and monitoring publication metrics such as citations, journal impact factors, and citations in national guidelines. As an NIHR funded study, we provide details and examples of our impact in regular progress reports to the NIHR.
