Review of "The Long COVID Self-Help Guide: Practical Ways to Manage Symptoms" book

Date

Trish Greenhalgh, investigator for Locomotion in Oxford, has published a review of the book "The Long Covid Self-Help Guide: Practical Ways to Manage Symptoms". The book was written by clinicians in Oxford, including Locomotion researchers such as Anton Pick. It draws on case studies to provide a focus on self-management. She concludes "It offers a clear lay explanation of the pathophysiology of the condition and how its effects tend to manifest... It is accessible, well-illustrated, non-patronising and up-to-date. It does not, however, promise or provide a miracle cure." One of the aims of Locomotion is to continue research on Long COVID, providing support and ultimately interventions for patients.
